Rules & Application
Entry Fee Regular Season: $60.00 Per Boat Includes Big Bass Pot (1st big bass 5.00 per boat, 2nd big bass: $3.00 per boat). One big bass entry per boat. $2.00 will go towards angler of the year awards. $5.00 per boat kept toward fish off. The Director reserves the right to reject any entry if he feels that it is not in the best interest of Stockton Friday Nighters.
Championship Entry Fee: $100.00 per Boat includes Big Bass
Membership: $15.00 membership fee per person applies towards fish off. Boater has to fish at least 5 tournaments to qualify for fish off. Non-boater must fish at least 4 tournaments to qualify for fish off.
Payback: One place for every five boats with a maximum of 7 places paid per event.
Late Penalty: Teams without chip on board at 1:00AM will be penalized 1 pound per minute late after 1:00AM up to a maximum of 10 minutes late (10 pound penalty) then disqualification.
Off Limits: State Park Marina inside wave barriers, New Orleans Trail & Mutton Creek Marina within 50yds of marina.
Tackle & Equipment: Only artificial bait and lures may be used. Pork style lures are allowed. Fish must be caught on rod and reel. NO TROLLING Trash Fish: Must be alive, Must be caught on rod & reel, Artificial Bait Only!
Scoring: Any Largemouth, Smallmouth bass 15″ minimum length and Spotted (Kentucky) 12”. 5 fish limit, any angler turning in more than 5 fish to the weigh-in scale will not be allowed to weigh in any fish. All fish will be measured. Any short fish turned in will be a one pound deduction plus loss of short fish. There will be a one pound deduction for each dead fish. If an angler’s big bass is dead the one pound penalty will be deducted from big bass weight.
Weigh-in bags: Please use only official tournament supplied weigh-bags to bring your fish to the weigh-in scales.
This process drastically improves released fish health. If an angler has an unresponsive fish when returned to the water please let a tournament official know. We will assist. Do Not Cull Dead Fish

Ties: Ties will be broken by most fish, then biggest fish, then flip of the coin.
Point Race: Will be scored on your best 5 tournaments of the year. Each team will receive 10 show-up points, plus all boats weighing fish will receive their total weight (rounded to the nearest pound) and 1st place: 100 points, 2nd place: 99 points, 3rd place: 98points, etc. In addition to receiving Anger of the Year award the winning team will also receive boat 1 position the following year. In the event of team partner spilt, boater will retain points.
Safety & Sportsmanship: Each participant is expected to conduct themselves with the highest level of sportsmanship and observe safe boating practices at all times. Belligerent, reckless or negligent activities are prohibited and are subject to disqualification at the discretion of the tournament directors.
KNOWLEDGE OF THESE RULES IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF EACH CONTESTANT. Failure to read these rules or ignorance of them is no excuse. Any announcements made by the Tournament Director at the tournament site take precedent over written rules. The decision of the Tournament Director shall be final in all matters and are not subject to appeal.
